Tips for air travel with your newborn: Sleeping is good – It’s not unusual for newborns and infants to sleep most of the flight, soothed by the noise and vibration. Our first flight with our first-born was easy. Eating is good, too – Because of air pressure changes, your baby may be cranky, with discomfort in ears and tummy. Nursing, bottle=feeding, or sucking on a pacifier can help ease those internal pressure changes, especially on take-off and landing. Change the scenery – If your infant is fussy and the seatbelt sign is not lit, consider a brief stroll in the aisle. Your legs will thank you, too. Recommended baby gear for happy traveling:
